Did you know that you can make really cute unique designs on your nails by yourself even if you were totally a beginner and with no practice? Yes, you’ve read that right! We often see a lot of beautiful nail designs that we never thought of making them ourselves because they look hard to make, but truth is, most can be really easy! This is really effective especially nowadays with the quarantine and the nail salons being closed and all, where it’s time for YOU to pull out the creativity and do your nails yourself!
Here are 10 Gorgeous Nail Inspirations:
1) Triangular French Nails: Look how gorgeous and chic this design looks, and did you know that you can do it by using a tape? Just apply your base color, and after it completely dries, put a tape in a way that it creates a triangle between the tape and the end of the nail and then apply your desired color and viola! Cute & edgy nails!
2) Polka Dots Nails: This pretty design can be achieved by using a cotton swab or even a toothpick for smaller dots. Just apply a bit of polish on either of these, dot them on your nails, apply your top coat and you’re good to go!
3) Wavy Color Nails: Now this may be trickier and requires more effort, but it’s still totally achievable even if you were a beginner! For this you can use any brush that is thin and do the wave shapes yourself with the polish applied, or you can actually cut two tapes in a wavy form so that you can apply the polish on your nails in between them.
4) Modern French Nails: These are gorgeous and super easy to do! With just your duct tape you can do French nails with literally any color, it can be the traditional French white, it can be sexy red, or it can be glittery and fun like the picture underneath!
5) Reverse French Nails: Just like the name suggests, they’re like the French nails concept just downwards! Same techniques are applied, only a duct tape and some nail polishes are needed!
6) Edgy Curve Nails: These are just like the Wavy ones in number 3 but a bit more challenging since it has more steps. But if you have the time and patience, then why not!
7) Ombré Nails: This style is one of my favorites, so classy and chic. I don’t know if you’ve ever came across these videos on Instagram where they are applying nail polish on a sponge and then putting it on their nails which creates this effect, but trust me, it works!
8) Half Colors Nails: This is one of the easiest and prettiest! With a duct tape also used as a barrier, you can apply any color to your nails and create this cute design… BTW, it doesn’t have to be in the middle, you can part the colors to the left, right, any way you prefer!
9) Gap Shape Nails: This look is absolutely cute and easy… Just apply the tape in an arch way at the bottom of your nails, apply your nail polish like usual, then remove your tape creating the arch shape like below!
10) Star Nails: And now to our final design for today, the star nails! Look how cute and adorable they look in the picture underneath. And you just need some stars, or any shape you have where you can use a transparent nail polish as a glue and then apply it as a top coat and you’re done!
