I’ve always suffered from under eye darkness and if I’ve ever decided to sleep super late, I would always wake up with racoon eyes. But then, after managing a specific routine, I’ve realized that my dark circles were finally gone and barely noticeable. There are lots of articles and posts out there about methods to get rid of dark circles stating numerous things you need to try, but all of which are super general and with no time periods. They may work but you will probably get lost and confused from which method to try first, when to expect results, and when to know that the method is not working and…
Well, that is exactly why I’m writing this article, I want to provide you with the exact techniques, the routine that I’ve managed, and the time period that I started seeing results in, because once I was just like you… a person with dark circles, surfing through the internet to find a solution, just to end up disappointed.
Things you need to know before if you GENUINELY want to get rid of dark circles
First we need to set two things straight:
1) That getting rid of dark circles naturally is a process that takes time, and can never happen overnight.
2) You can’t be sleeping at 6 AM and expect to get rid of your dark circles, so yes, you will have to fix your schedule in order to get rid of them.
My routine and how I got rid of under eye darkness naturally
Okay, so now that we got those two things out of the way, I will be walking you through my journey and how I succeeded in getting rid of my dark circles.
My routine includes mainly three things: Vitamin E oil, drinking LOTS of water, and of course some good night sleep. 3 months in and I saw great results.
Before I go to sleep, I always put a bit of vitamin E oil on my fingers and dab them on my undereyes (dab and not pull or swipe to not cause wrinkles!), I drank LOTS of water (visited the toilet a lot but was worth it! lol) and I slept early (10pm-ish).
Why you should be patient and do it
I know, I know, it sounds so cliché and boring, every single person on earth always tells you to drink lots of water and sleep early, and I would always click out whenever a post recommends me these methods…BUT I started doing them for health reasons and then noticed that my dark circles went away because of them. I want you to trust me and do exactly the routine that I did, try it for 3 months (the time I saw results) and see if it works for you or not. What will you lose? literally nothing…. You will always be hydrated from the water (plus ALOT of benefits), you will get a good night sleep and start feeling fresh, and oils are always great for hydrating your under eye! hahaha but seriously, if you were looking for some magical remedy, then sadly it doesn’t exist (unless surgery or fillers…). But why go through all of this when you can just follow a healthy fresh routine? Yes it takes time, but all things do when they’re good and worth it!
